Refund & Cancellation Policy

Oh My Lore! (“we”, “us”, “our”) offers paid subscription plans (Rare, Legendary) and one-time AI credit packs. Our payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., which acts as our Merchant of Record and authorized reseller — Polar is the seller of record for your purchase, issues your invoice, collects and remits any applicable VAT/sales tax, and processes refunds. Polar’s own buyer terms also apply to the payment process.

1. Cancelling a Subscription

You can cancel anytime from Account → Billing (or via the billing portal linked there). Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period. We do not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of a period, except where required by law (see §3).

2. AI Credit Packs (One-Time Purchases)

AI credit packs are non-transferable prepaid usage units, consumable only inside Oh My Lore!, with no cash value and no withdrawable balance. Because credits unlock immediate digital functionality:

3. EU/EEA Consumers — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Directive 2011/83/EU; Czech Civil Code §1829).

Immediate-performance waiver. Because subscriptions and credit packs provide immediate digital access, at checkout you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once we begin providing the service / once a credit is used (Czech Civil Code §1837(l)). If you did not give that consent and the service has not yet begun, you may withdraw within 14 days using our withdrawal form or by emailing support@ohmylore.app with the subject “Withdrawal”.

4. How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are processed by Polar (our Merchant of Record) to your original payment method, normally within 14 days. Because Polar is the Merchant of Record, your statement may show “Polar* OHMYLORE” rather than our name. You may also contact Polar’s buyer support directly for billing or refund questions via the link on your Polar receipt.

5. Errors, Double Charges & Goodwill

If you were charged in error, charged twice, or the Service was materially unavailable, contact support@ohmylore.app within 30 days. We will make it right — including a full refund where appropriate — beyond your statutory minimums.

6. Failed Renewals & Involuntary Churn

If a renewal payment fails, Polar may retry per its dunning schedule. If payment ultimately fails, your plan reverts to the free Common tier; your data is retained per our Privacy Policy.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a chargeback — we can usually resolve billing issues faster directly. Abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.
